Monthly SEO services for established small businesses, fast-growing mid-sized companies, and international brands that don’t want a one-off “SEO fix”, but consistent, compounding organic growth.

Monthly SEO is a 6–12 month optimisation program delivered together with your in-house team (marketing manager, developer, copywriter) and me as your consultant. We improve the technical foundations of your website and ensure increasing your organic traffic from Google (and other search engines) by continuous content creation and -optimisation. These optimisations will also strengthen your visibility in AI answers (AI Overviews, LLMs).

The biggest advantage of a monthly SEO retainer is that it creates a healthy “work momentum”

  • The SEO Consultant stays accountable because they need to ships actionable recommendations month after month. They constantly track performance to understand what’s working and what needs adjustment.
  • The client’s team stays accountable because a retainer creates an internal expectation of execution. The faster you implement, the faster you see ROI. Especially if you follow the consultant’s recommendations.

In SEO, you typically start seeing measurable impact after ~3–6 months. This depends heavily on search potential and how quickly recommendations are implemented.

What results can you expect from Monthly SEO Packages? We can estimate this based on the search volume behind your target topics/keywords and a CTR model. And use scenario planning (optimistic-, realistic-, conservative scenarios) to understand the expected uplift in your organic traffic.

Who Are Monthly SEO Packages Recommended For?

Monthly SEO is a great fit if…

You see SEO as a core part of your marketing and you’re ready to invest in it consistently so it can become one of your growth engines.
You already have stable revenue and there’s proven demand for your product/service.
You already have a website and solid marketing processes.
Your goal is execution, iteration and continuous improvement, and not a one-off audit with partial implementation.
A large share of your online traffic already comes from organic channels, and you want to scale it further.
Organic traffic is NOT your main traffic source yet, but you want to change that in the medium/long term.

Monthly SEO is NOT good fit if…

You’re a sole entrepreneur / micro business without solid marketing processes.
You want results in one month. With SEO, that’s not going to happen.
You already have a strong in-house SEO / online marketing team and you only need occasional expert input from an external consultant. In that case, hourly consulting is usually a better fit.
You have a very specific business problem that’s best solved as a project (e.g., website migration, a new category structure).
You don’t have capacity (or a dedicated person) for copywriting and updating your website.
You’re a very niche B2B company with extremely limited search volume.

I tend to work best with clients who…

Are results-focused and not price-sensitive.
Have key stakeholders (copywriter, developer, UX/UI, leadership) who are open to new approaches, and don’t cling to things, bc “we’ve always done it this way.”
Have a clear, well-defined goal that doesn’t change every month.
Want an SEO consultant and a business-minded partner at once.
Think long-term and don’t expect instant miracles to happen (and don’t panic over temporary setbacks).
Your organisation moves very slowly when it comes to decision-making.
Recommendations are unlikely to be implemented due to heavy bureaucracy or stakeholder disagreement.
You avoid testing and validation and keep chasing the “perfect” solution, which leads to analysis paralysis.
You want to delegate every task (including implementation) to the SEO consultant.
You’re looking for a standardized cheap SEO service without real collaboration.

What Does The Collaboration Look Like?

First, I carry out a detailed SEO Growth Audit. The SEO Growth Audit is an analysis of your website’s current state, that aims to uncover the search potential and growth opportunities.

1.

SEO Growth Audit, goal setting

First, I run a detailed SEO analysis of your website’s current state, plus a deeper analysis of the available search potential

The insights from the SEO Growth Audit become the backbone of the SEO Roadmap.

2.

SEO Roadmap

The SEO Roadmap contains every optimisation task we need to complete to reach the target we set in step one.

It includes task descriptions, priorities, expected timing, and owners. I then build the project structure in Asana based on this roadmap.

3.

Monthly Implementation

This is the “hard work” phase, where implementation happens: recommendations, content briefs, implementation support, developer support etc.

Think of it as a continuous loop of testing → implementation → validatation, designed to deliver results fast, and learn from results quickly.

4.

Reporting, fine-tuning & next month’s focus

We review results once per month. The report shows the impact of changes so far, and what needs adjusting.

We also fine-tune priorities and unblock tasks

If you’d like, I’m happy to coordinate key team members (usually copywriter + developer) so recommendations get executed smoothly.

If there’s a solid SEO Team in your organization that can implement the findings of the audit in-house, then you’ll cover only the audit’s fee. But if you decide to implement them with me, then the monthly SEO collaboration kicks off. In such cases

If there’s a solid SEO Team in your organization that can implement the findings of the audit in-house, then a monthly retainer is not needed. You’ll just have to cover the audit fee. But if you decide to implement them with me in a monthly collaboration, the project kicks off after the audit.

If you book a monthly retainer within 30 days of the audit being delivered, I’ll credit 50% of the audit fee toward your first month’s retainer.

When Can You Expect Results?

You’ll start seeing tangible SEO results within 3–6 months most likely. The exact timeline depends on how quickly recommendations are implemented, how long your sales cycle is, and how much search demand exists on your market (i.e., your search potential).

There’s a common saying in the SEO industry that clients typically see meaningful results after 6–9 months. That’s partly true, because in practice, it takes time to:

  • implement the changes on the website,
  • create the necessary content (copy, articles, images, videos, audio/podcast, interactive elements like a calculator),
  • publish the content,
  • give Google time to crawl, rank, and collect historical data,
  • and then see the impact reflected in Search Console (usually 2–4 weeks after implementation).

All of that easily adds up to 3–6 months.

In B2B, results usually take longer. Based on my experience, a more realistic expectation is 9–12 months, mainly due to the longer sales cycle.

What Are The Expected Realistic Results?

Impact depends on search potential (volume), competition intensity (e.g., whether ads dominate the SERP), and the rankings we can achieve.

In some cases, the goal isn’t the traditional position #1, but winning SERP features (AI Overviews, featured snippets, local packs, etc.) that ensure visibility to your brand.

We can estimate expected traffic growth by using keyword search volumes + a CTR model. We typically outline 3 scenarios (optimistic, realistic, conservative), apply realistic click-through data, and calculate potential traffic. From there, we can also estimate ROI using your average conversion rate and the cost of SEO.

One crucial caveat: implementation is always on the client’s side. You make the final call on what gets implemented and how. The consultant’s role is decision support. It’s important to be bear this in mind to avoid misunderstandings.

Speed of Implementation is Key

Fast execution matters because you won’t always land the perfect optimisation decision on the first try.

Content is rarely perfect at first. A technical change doesn’t always fix everything. And even if something ranks well today, competitors can respond and SERP dynamics can shift.

Speed also matters because search engines rely heavily on historical performance- and user interaction data. The faster you ship improvements, the sooner you build the dataset that supports stronger long-term rankings.

Algorithm updates and shifting user intent can also impact performance. Sometimes the dominant intent in a topic shifts from informational to commercial (or the other way around). And the SERP adjusts accordingly.

Not sure you want to commit to a monthly retainer yet? We can start with an SEO Growth Audit instead.

I’ll show you where your biggest opportunities are, what tactics can drive visitors and revenue (with a touch of CRO), and you’ll get actionable insights even if we don’t continue. And yes: no “SEO nonsense” is guaranteed. Claim your audit today!

Send me a message if you want a custom offer, have a question, or just want to have a chat about SEO!

What Happens After Getting in Touch?

First of all: I’ll reply in a couple of hours, max. 1 day. If in any unimaginable circumstances not (e.g. I’m out chasing crime in a cape), reach out to me via the e-mail address you’ll find after filling out the form!

1.

We’ll talk through the project: your goals, the main tasks, and the potential in the project.

This is also where we both find out whether there’s real client–consultant chemistry between us.

2.

Based on what we discussed, I’ll send you a tailored proposal.

It will outline the strategic direction I recommend, what to optimise first to reach results faster, and how you’ll receive the deliverables.

3.

We’ll go through the proposal in detail.

This is where we lock in the scope, responsibilities, and the most important KPIs.

4.

If everything looks good, we sign the contract and start the project. *whoop whoop!*

First step: I create a detailed SEO roadmap, including the priority task list and expected timeline.
